Sean Boswell is a lonely guy who wants to look like a street racing pro. He recklessly races through the city streets, trying to escape from life's hardships and making enemies among the local authorities. When Sean faces prison, he is sent out of harm's way to his father, a professional military man who serves on a military base in Japan. In an unfamiliar country that lives by its own laws, Sean feels like an even bigger outcast. However, soon his American friend Twinkie introduces him to the world of underground drift racing.
