The life of successful manager Louis Winthrop III, the head of the richest company on Wall Street, changes dramatically after his bosses, the Duke brothers, make an unusual bet. One of the brothers believed that anyone, even the most notorious and uneducated rogue, could manage the company. Having bet a dollar, the brothers find street swindler Billy Ray Valentine for their experiment, who is offered to head the company instead of Winthrop. The eccentric Duke couple has no idea that by switching places between a rogue and a big businessman, they are risking much more than they could have imagined.
