Angel Heart
1955, New York. A certain Louis Cypher approaches private detective Harry Angel with a request to find the talented musician Johnny Favorite. In 1943, Mr. Cypher entered into a contract with Johnny, but Favorite, returning from the war, ended up in a psychiatric hospital, from where he subsequently disappeared. Harry begins an investigation, however, the further he progresses in his search, the more mysteries he encounters on his way. But there is no turning back: everyone from whom the detective tried to find out at least some information about the missing Johnny dies after a conversation with Angel.
