Drug Enforcement Detectives Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett are assigned to investigate a scheme to deliver a new drug to Miami. This investigation leads them to a clever plot hatched by a local drug lord to take control of the entire drug trade in the city. By pure chance, other players in the illegal market learn about these ambitious plans, which results in a full-scale war. Despite this, Mike and Marcus manage to successfully cope with the onslaught of the drug mafia and put dealers behind bars. But the situation begins to get out of control when Mike becomes seriously infatuated with Marcus's sister, Sydney. The triumph of the law hangs in the balance - after all, instead of carrying out special assignments, the detectives begin to sort things out among themselves...
