The life of a charismatic adventurer, Captain Jack Sparrow, full of exciting adventures, changes dramatically when his sworn enemy - Captain Barbossa - steals Jack's ship, the Black Pearl, and then attacks Port Royal and kidnaps the governor's beautiful daughter, Elizabeth Swann. Elizabeth's childhood friend, Will Turner, together with Jack leads a rescue expedition on the fastest ship in Britain, in an attempt to rescue the girl from captivity and at the same time take the Black Pearl from the villain. Following this couple is the ambitious Commodore Norrington, who is also listed as Elizabeth’s fiancé.
