Yegor Kremnev is a special agent of Russian intelligence. Lately, he has been plagued by setbacks: the failure of a military operation in Colombia, where Kremnev led the capture group, claimed the lives of all his comrades. Kremnev is blamed for this tragedy. He is stripped of his commanding powers. Now he is an ordinary surveillance agent. But it seems that his troubles did not end there. During the last mission, which promised to be simple and safe, the Colombian tragedy repeated itself - all of Kremnev’s comrades died. And the person who was supposed to be captured turned out to be the secretary of the fugitive oligarch Sorkin - Mikhail Shering, who had been wanted for a long time. Shering is rumored to have secret papers that are being hunted not only by Russian intelligence, but also by a powerful Western crime syndicate. Now Kremnev faces the difficult task of delivering Schering to his homeland. In order to rehabilitate himself for past failures and regain his good name, Kremnev intends to deliver Schering alone, without the help of fellow intelligence officers. Moreover, there are continuous betrayals, conspiracies, ambushes and traps all around. But Kremnev’s most important trap is the delivery facility - Shering. Kremnev cannot get rid of the influence of his fellow traveler so easily. This deadly journey will change both: the defeated Shering and the invincible Kremnev.
