The Pilot: A Battle for Survival
December 1941. Pilot Nikolai Komlev successfully carries out the order and destroys a German tank column moving towards Moscow. But Komlev’s plane is shot down by enemy fighters, and the pilot miraculously lands his Il-2 in a remote forest clearing. It seems that the worst is behind him - he survived the air battle. However, the trials are just beginning: the wounded Komlev has to make an unimaginable journey, overcoming frost, pain and hunger, escaping from wolves and a special squad of Nazis, whose task is to find him at any cost. The pilot is driven by the will to live, courage and, of course, love. Olga is waiting for him at home; it is her image that warms him in the cold and helps him move forward to salvation. He has only one chance to survive, to return to his beloved, rise into the sky again and win.
