Attack on Leningrad
Winter of 1941. Bombs are raining down from the sky non-stop, turning houses into ruins, and the surviving, homeless, freezing people are suffocated by hunger. Hitler is convinced that the blockade will turn Leningraders into a herd of wild animals tearing pieces of food from each other. But Leningraders remain people. There are two heroines in the film: Nina Tsvetkova and Kate Davis. One is a Leningrad woman, a policewoman, a “worker’s bone,” a devout Komsomol member, the daughter of the Grazhdanskaya hero, who was hacked to death in a battle with the White Guards. And the other is a noblewoman, born in St. Petersburg, the daughter of a white general, an emigrant, a cosmopolitan, a journalist, absolutely not adapted to life - not to mention the unimaginable hardships of the blockade. They should be enemies, but life will judge otherwise. A life they are desperately fighting for.
