Swimmer Haley had a bad day: first she lost the race by a fraction of a second, and then a Category 5 hurricane hits Florida. But to make matters worse, her father doesn't get in touch, so Hayley goes to the already evacuated area and finds him seriously wounded and unconscious in the basement of their old house. Trying to get her father out of the damp basement, the girl discovers that a huge aggressive alligator has taken up residence here.
