Man on Fire
Wealthy residents of Mexico City are in panic: in just six days, 24 people have disappeared in the city. Parents are especially concerned about the wave of kidnappings, and many of them, out of fear, hire bodyguards for their offspring. During this difficult time, former CIA agent John Creasy finds himself in the city. A friend of Creasy, Rayburn found him a position here as a bodyguard for the nine-year-old daughter of industrialist Samuel Ramos, Pita Ramos. At first, Creasy finds it difficult to tolerate being around a precocious girl. But gradually Pita manages to break through the outward inaccessibility of his guard, and they become friends. Creasy regains his zest for life, but everything falls apart when Pita is kidnapped. Creasy is defeated and destroyed, but his anger against the criminals prevails. Creasy vows to kill anyone who is involved in or benefits from Pita's kidnapping. And no one will stop him.
