Babe
Touching and funny at the same time, a fairy-tale story about the adventures of a small, unusually smart Yorkshire pig. All the animals on the Hoggett farm have distinct personalities and communicate with each other in human language. People, of course, are completely unaware of the matter. When the owner begins to suspect something, he himself gets involved in this game, hoping to use the suddenly manifested intelligence of the animals on the farm. The four-legged baby, the same piglet raised by the shepherd Fly, is trying to prove that a pig is suitable not only for decorating the Christmas table (which is exactly what this was all about), but is capable of doing work that requires intelligence and ingenuity - herding sheep. You can imagine how the sheep themselves feel about this idea! Not to mention shepherds - what professional pride can withstand this? However, when fairy tale motifs finally begin to prevail in the plot, it becomes clear that the “good” will certainly defeat the “bad”. These “good guys” are very good, they are very charming, smart and, most importantly, friendly. An unconditional movie hit, stunning with its location shooting and very expensive animatronics. Simply put, when working on the film, several dozen trainers and a huge number of animal doubles and dummies were involved. The final scene, worthy of heading the list of “best circus acts with animals,” generally took more time to rehearse and film than the rest of the film. Although it only takes two minutes. However, it's worth it! A film imbued with love for all living things that cannot be watched without smiling. And besides a smile of tenderness and sympathy, he will also make you laugh the most sincerely. The episode with the duck allergic to Persian cats alone is worth many “serious” comedies in modern cinema. However, it is precisely these comedies that such episodes in “The Four-Legged Baby” are intended to parody. An absolutely “all-weather” picture - for any age, home mood. No one here will require any special mental effort from the viewer. Easy and fun!
