Former police major Korenev, nicknamed the Fox, after the events associated with the liquidation of a gang of terrorists, continues to fight evil in all its manifestations. This time, fate finds Fox in a labor treatment center, where he hides from the surrounding reality. His wife left him, there are conflicts at work because of his unconventional methods of work, and only in the clinic does Lis feel calm. But when a series of assassination attempts on people from his past life take place in the city, Fox cannot stay away. The banker Hondachev and his assistant, a young woman named Katya, take Korenev from the labor treatment center and ask for help in finding the people who attempted to assassinate the banker and, apparently, stole a large sum of money from his bank. The fox, more out of interest in the girl, agrees, having no idea what he is getting himself into. The investigation will confront Fox with his past, which he would like to forget, and turn his life around, giving him true love.
