Real Steel
The film takes place in a future where boxing has been banned due to excessive violence and has been replaced by human-controlled robot fights. The main character of the film is former boxer Charlie Keaton, who is left out of work in a world where three-meter robots weighing a ton rule the ring. Charlie has to settle for the role of a small-time promoter who performs in underground arenas with disposable robots assembled from scrap metal. When things get worse, Charlie learns that he has a son, Max, whom he has never met. Together they decide to build and train a true champion. As brutal no-holds-barred fighting escalates, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get their chance to win.
