Once upon a time in London lived a young and naive barber Benjamin Barker. He was married to a lovely woman named Lucy, who bore him an equally lovely daughter. Unfortunately for him, the voluptuous judge Turpin also appreciated the charm of his wife - and sent Benjamin Barker to lifelong hard labor in order to take possession of his wife without interference. Fifteen years later, Barker escaped from hard labor and, under the name of Sweeney Todd, reached London - and found neither his wife nor his daughter at home.
