In 2029, multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the forefront of robotics research. The company's drones have won victories in all American wars, and now the company plans to use its achievements on the home front. Alex Murphy, a loving husband, father and good cop, fights the avalanche of crime and corruption that has hit Detroit. Having been seriously wounded in the line of duty, OmniCorp decides to use him in their robotic experiment to save the hero’s life.
