As a child, Peter Parker was abandoned by his parents and was therefore raised by his aunt and uncle. Years passed, Peter was an ordinary exemplary schoolboy, was attacked by bullies and was in love with his classmate Gwen Stacy, who secretly reciprocated his feelings. But after being bitten by a genetically altered spider, Peter gains incredible superpowers and his life changes forever. However, he continues to be tormented by the question of what happened to his parents. He meets his father's longtime friend and partner - geneticist Curt Connors, who, together with Peter's father, developed a regeneration formula. Peter helps finish it, and Connors, who has dreamed all his life of restoring his right arm, injects the formula into himself and becomes the Lizard. Realizing his guilt, Peter begins a new life as the mysterious superhero Spider-Man and becomes a terror for criminals while trying to find a way to stop Connors.
