The Rookie

The film is based on the true story of a coach who suddenly realizes that it is never too late to make your dreams come true. Jim Morris never made it past the minor leagues after a shoulder injury ended his pitching career nearly twelve years ago. Now he has a wife and children, works as a chemistry teacher at school, and part-time is the baseball coach of the Texas team. And here's the luck: if Jim's team wins the state championship, then they have a chance to get into the big leagues. A single chance motivates a team that has gone from last to first to great things. It was then that Jim realized that his dreams were beginning to come true, and there was no way he could let them remain only in his thoughts.
