How I Ended This Summer

The head of the polar station, Sergei, and the young trainee Pavel are alone on an island in the Arctic Ocean. Their watch is coming to an end. For the first time in many years, Sergei will be on the mainland, where his family is waiting for him. Pavel's summer practice will end, and he has not experienced even a hundredth part of the adventures that he expected when going to the Arctic. The only channel of communication with the world is unstable radio communication with the central base. In Sergei's absence, a message arrives that Pavel simply does not know what to do with. He hopes that a ship will come for them soon and then everything will be resolved by itself. But in the Far North everything is possible. And sometimes you have to choose between your life and the life of another...
