An Unexpected Journey follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins as he embarks on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf kingdom of Erebor from the sinister dragon Smaug. Quite unexpectedly, the wizard Gandalf the Gray establishes contact with the hobbit. So Bilbo finds himself, joining the company of thirteen dwarves, led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield. Their journey will take them through the Wild Land, through treacherous lands inhabited by goblins and orcs, deadly wargs and giant spiders, skin-swapping folk and wizards. And although their goal lies in the East among the wastes of the Lonely Mountain, first they will have to escape from the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo will meet the creature that will change his life forever... Gollum. Here, alone with Gollum, on the shore of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo Baggins will discover not only the cunning and courage hidden in the depths of his soul, which will surprise even him, but will also take possession of Gollum’s “lovely” ring, which has unexpected and useful properties... Simple gold a ring with which the fate of all Middle-earth is tied, with threads that Bilbo could not even imagine. The Hobbit. The Desolation of Smaug The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013, 186 min.) The Hobbit film. The Desolation of Smaug is a continuation of the journey of the hobbit Bilbo Baggins, the wizard Gandalf and 13 brave dwarves. Their company must complete their journey to the Lonely Mountain. There they must face the greatest danger of all - a creature far more terrifying than any of their past foes - the dragon Smaug. The Hobbit. The Battle of the Five Armies The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014, 164 min.) “The Last Journey into Middle-earth” When a detachment of thirteen dwarves hired the hobbit Bilbo Baggins as a burglar and the fourteenth, “lucky” participant in the campaign to the Lonely One Unfortunately, Bilbo believed that his adventures would end when he completed his task - to find the treasure that the leader of the dwarves Thorin so needed. In the film The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, the journey to Erebor, the kingdom of the dwarves captured by the dragon Smaug, turned out to be even more dangerous than the dwarves and even Gandalf, the wise wizard, who extended a helping hand to Thorin and his squad, expected. An army of orcs, led by an ancient evil that had awakened in the ruins, rushed in pursuit of the dwarves, and the elves and people with whom Bilbo and his companions had to deal during the journey and who suffered the consequences of the dwarves' desire to reclaim their home laid claim to a generous reward - part treasures of the Lonely Mountain. Soon five armies will meet near the Lonely Mountain, and only a bloody battle will determine the results of the brave dwarven campaign.
