John Constantine managed not only to go to hell, but also to return back. Born with a talent he didn’t like—the ability to recognize a cross between angels and demons who roam the earth in the guise of people—Konstantin, under pressure from circumstances, tries to commit suicide in order to get rid of painful visions. But it was unsuccessful. Resurrected against his own will, he again finds himself in the world of the living. Now, marked with the mark of suicide and given a temporary right to life, he patrols the border separating heaven and hell, vainly hoping to find salvation by fighting the earthly henchmen of evil. But Constantine is not a saint either. Becoming increasingly disillusioned with the world around him, and being at odds with the other world, having become embittered by a hard life, he begins to become an alcoholic, disdaining the very idea of heroism. Constantine will fight for your soul, but he doesn't need your admiration or your gratitude. And least of all your sympathy! All he needs is to find a way out... When a desperate but still skeptical police officer enlists Konstantin's help in solving the mysterious suicide of her twin sister, the investigation leads them into the world of demons and angels, which is located in the underground of the modern metropolis of Los...
