It Happened One Night (1934)

From Here to Eternity (1953)
Robert Lee Pruitt was transferred to another unit after an accident. A capable boxer, he refuses to compete in the ring, because during a training fight he injured his friend, as a result of which he went blind. However, for the army brass, sports are a good career tool, and Private Pruitt's reluctance to get into the ring is seen as something very close to treason. It is this refusal that makes Pruitt a subversive element in the eyes of his superiors, and especially Captain Homs. Among the large number of very colorful representatives of the garrison, private Angelo Maggio stands out, who ends up in a military prison, famous for its intransigence towards troublemakers. Sergeant Milton Worden, on the contrary, hating officers both as an institution and as a sum of specific individuals, resists in his own way - with impeccable knowledge of his duties and high professionalism, which makes him simply irreplaceable in the company. However, his revenge on his superiors also takes very specific forms - he starts an affair with the wife of his company commander, Karen Homes, who feels nothing but contempt for her husband. However, neither Milton nor Karen have any illusions about the longevity of their romance, which nevertheless threatens to outgrow the framework of an ordinary affair and turn into a big, all-consuming love... Only a few days will pass and the seventh of December 1941 arrives, when the Japanese Air Force launches a massive strike on the American military base Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and on the fate of the heroes of this film.

To the teacher, with love (1967)
A university graduate, unable to find a job in his specialty, agrees to a position as a teacher at a school for troubled teenagers. While working at school and simultaneously sending out his resume, he eventually receives an invitation to the position of engineer in some company.
