Directed by the legendary Ridley Scott, Gladiator II continues the epic tale of power, intrigue, and vengeance in Ancient Rome. Years after witnessing the death of the revered hero Maximus at the hands of his uncle, Lucius (Paul Mescal) is forced into the Colosseum when his home is conquered by the tyrannical Emperors ruling Rome with an iron fist. With rage in his heart and the future of the Empire at stake, Lucius must draw on his past to find the strength and honor needed to restore Rome's glory to its people.
Produced by Douglas Wick, Ridley Scott, Lucy Fisher, Michael Pruss, and David Franzoni, with Walter Parkes, Laurie MacDonald, Raymond Kirk, and Aidan Elliott serving as executive producers, Gladiator II is based on characters by David Franzoni.
