Disney+ showed the first teaser trailer for Robert Zemeckis' film Pinocchio with Tom Hanks
A trailer has appeared for the film “Pinocchio,” conceived as a film adaptation of the 1940 Disney Animation of the same name. The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis, creator of Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Forrest Gump. The premiere will take place on the Disney+ streaming service on September 8.
The film retells the famous book by Carlo Collodi about a wooden doll who wants to become a real child. The role of the woodcarver Gepetto, who makes Pinocchio, was played by Tom Hanks. Jiminy Cricket, who becomes a guide on the journey and at the same time the voice of the doll’s conscience, was voiced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The Blue Fairy will be played by Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo. And Luke Evans will play Coachman.
