Nancy has nightmares about a scary, scarred figure wearing a glove with razor-sharp “knife fingers.” She soon discovers that her friends are having similar dreams. When the children begin to die, Nancy realizes that she must stay awake to survive. Uncovering the identity of the dream killer and his connection to the children of Elm Street, the girl plots to lure him into the real world.
